Wondering about the inspiration behind our recently announced giveaway contest? Well, the title of our Olympic-themed giveaway was taken from this vintage button currently housed in the Busy Beaver Button Museum:
We don’t know much about the origins of this button, but our best guess is that it hails from the late 1980s or early 1990s. And Christen Carter jokingly refers to it as one of her favorite buttons.
We did consider naming the giveaway after this button, but we couldn’t think of any streaking-themed prizes. Sunscreen? Break away sweatpants? We just didn’t know.
