By now you’ve probably heard the story of the woman in Spain who “fixed” a 19th century fresco with a, shall we say, creative restoration job. Even better, it’s now coming to light that many famous works of art have been similarly updated. And since we’re big fans of art buttons over here, we thought it was about time these masterpieces become immortalized as pinbacks. Art this great must be worn, right?!
Okay, okay, calm down, art history lovers– Nobody actually repainted these. But I’d still wear that tiny-eyed Vermeer any day of the week.
