How To: Button Name Tags

Did you know that our buttons are coded in mylar? That means making name tag  buttons is easier than ever. The pre-made buttons can be customized with the use of a simple Sharpie® marker. Just write your name on the face of the button, wait a few seconds for it to dry, then pin on and start mingling!

Ready for some Custom Buttons?

So if you're headed to a business conference, convention, or family reunion this summer, be sure to bring along your own set of custom name tag buttons— it'll help old Uncle Eddy remember that, yes, you are Cousin Dave's daughter Denise.

These buttons mimic the size and shape of the classic "Hello, my name is" sticker that you've probably stuck on your shirt at countless meetings and conferences.

Rectangle button name tags are a clear upgrade, though—written on with a permanent marker, not only are they more durable than a sticker, they'll never come unstuck and do that rolled up corners thing like stickers inevitably do after a couple of hours.

Plus, you can reuse button name tags for multi-day events. If you host events where lots of people use name tags on a regular basis, consider providing dry erase or overhead projector markers and collect the name tags at the end of the event to reuse next time. No waste!
