Like anybody else, the Busy Beaver staff have been thinking this week about our new year’s resolutions. The only difference for ours, of course, is that we’ve got buttons to go along with them! Here’s what we’ve got planned for 2014:
Christen’s resolution is to have more fun. She said of her button pick, “It’s worn out, it’s vague and hardly visible. I say this every year, but this is the year!”
Denise’s resolution is to “worry less. Or as the masseuse at the gym put it: ‘Think less, breathe more.'”
Joel’s said that in the new year, “I plan on seeing ‘Man of La Mancha’ one time in 2014.”
Natalie said that ‘try it, you’ll like it’ is, “how I convince myself to do anything. Hopefully I’ll find some new things I like in 2014, too. So far the only thing it hasn’t worked on is eating raw onions– still do not like.”
Carrie’s 2014 plans are to “get serious about pursuing a tattoo apprenticeship, to get over my fear and ‘DO IT’.”
Abbey’s 2014 resolution is to cook more, though, “not people, like the illustration on this button. I’m thinking vegetables, and not for the can, although I always have my can cutter in hand just in case, you can also get one of them if you need it.
Brian’s New Year’s resolution will be no surprise to those who know him. “I’m planning to eat pizza all 365 days in 2014, rather than the 361 that I did in 2013.”
Whatever your new year’s plans, the whole beaver crew wishes you the best in 2014!
