There’s nothing worse that being with a group of people all talking about the new hotspot in the neighborhood and all you can think is, “How have I never even heard of this place?”
Well, never fear, you wannabe trendsetters! Superb is a new app that lets you collect and save placed you love or want to try out later, and see the places your friends and other folks are liking, too.
And what better way to promote your hip new app than with some hip new bottle openers and buttons, right?
Superb was founded on the idea that “technology and social media should serve to enhance your life offline, not draw you away from it,” and allows users to quickly and easily create wish lists of places they want to visit in the future.
Superb is a startup based in LA, but their designer, Lauren Gallagher, lives just down the street from Busy Beaver here in Logan Square. (We have the best neighbors!) Lauren said, “I work for [Superb] remotely and was excited to use the trusty neighborhood button maker for this merch request!”
Lauren explained that Superb launched a few months back and the buttons are being used as promotion and giveaways to create buzz around the app, as well as to reward loyal Supberb users.
“We ask for feedback from people who use the app a lot,” Lauren said, “and in exchange, will send them some swag.”
The metallic finish looks great with their bold black and white image on the bottle openers, and Lauren said that the 1″ buttons were “the perfect place” for their logo. Plus, they look great on a backpack strap, as evidence by this photo Lauren sent along.
Since Superb is location-based, while browsing Superb this morning we were quickly reminded of all the great Logan Square haunts just a few blocks from Busy Beaver.
Looks like it may be a pie-for-lunch kind of day!
