Artwork Guidelines

Please submit artwork according to the following guidelines:
• Art is in CMYK Color
• Art is at least 300 dpi
• Art is at least the size of your chosen lapel magnet
• All fonts are outlined
• All linked images are embedded in file
• Fonts are 5pt size or above
• Line weight is 0.5pt thick or above

Our design team will check your artwork to make sure it has the proper image resolution and size, art is within the safe area and includes a full bleed, color is CMYK and rim text is placed correctly.

If your artwork looks good, we'll begin production. If changes are needed, you will receive an email from our design team within 1 business day.

What is the minimum order for custom lapel magnets?

You can order custom lapel magnets starting at just 50 pieces per design. It’s a great option for small events, nametags, or trying out a new idea before going big.

Can I get a sample of my lapel magnet before placing a full order?

Yes. We offer a single sample for $8 so you can see your custom magnet in action, test the colors, check the finish, and feel how strong the magnet is before printing more. Just contact orders@busybeaver.net

Will I see a proof before my lapel magnets print?

Yes. Just check the proof box before adding to cart and we’ll send a free digital proof before production begins. Nothing prints until you say it looks just right.

Can you help with my lapel pin design?

What sizes and shapes do you offer for lapel magnets?

Busy Beaver offers round lapel magnets in 1", 1.25", 1.5", 2.25", 3", and 6" sizes. Square lapel magnets are available in 1", 1.5", and 2". We also offer unique shapes like oval and rectangle.

How long does it take to produce custom lapel magnets?

Standard production time is 5 business days after you approve your proof. If you're in a rush, we offer expedited production and same-day pickup from our Chicago shop. Contact orders@busybeaver.net for more information on rush production.
