Busy Beaver is a big fan of The Yellow Umbrella Organization. They’ve been a customer of ours for a couple of years and the buttons they order are legendary; everyone who has worked at Busy Beaver knows and loves the “Save The Hooch” buttons.
But we don’t just love them for their great button designs. Busy Beaver also greatly supports their cause— HPV and cervical cancer prevention and advocacy. Since it’s estimated that about one in four of all young adults in America have HPV, the disease which can lead to cervical cancer in women, it’s important to educate the public about preventive methods like liquid pap tests and vaccinations.
And Christine Baze, the founder of The Yellow Umbrella Organization, does a great job spreading the message. The organization’s website is a wealth of information and Baze, who is a cervical cancer survivor, now tours the US and Canada educating the public.
To help Baze in her quest to end cervical cancer, Busy Beaver will be donating 10% of this week’s sales to The Yellow Umbrella Organization. So button up and help “Save The Hooch”!
