It’s time once again for Busy Beaver’s annual Golden Button Awards! Each year we take a week to recognize customers whose buttons have stood out over the past year by creating exceptionally clever artwork or using buttons in new and innovative ways. So, without further adieu, we present out first award:
“What’s the goat dressed as this time?” It’s perhaps not a phrase that’s said often at your workplace, but at Busy Beaver, asking what a goat is wearing is actually pretty commonplace. The goat in question belongs to chef Stephanie Izard, the brains behind Chicago’s Girl and the Goat and Little Goat restaurants. The goat mascot appears on a new button every few months, dressed in various costumes celebrating holidays and events. One of our favorite iterations was last Thanksgiving’s goat-dressed-as-turkey-dressed-as-pilgrim. How’s that for mind-bending, eh?
In honor of the well-accessorized little creature, Girl and the Goat/Little Goat Diner are the recipient of this year’s Golden Button for “Best Dressed Goat.”
Congrats to Stephanie and the gang, and thanks for spreading the goat-inspired button love!
